Dalia Feldman
Athlete of the Month
November 2018
Dalia is our athlete of the month for November! We’ve been going out into the community to volunteer at events and Dalia is the FIRST one to sign up EVERY time. She’s also really put on a nice bit of muscle lately and really looks healthy and fit!
She’s been really consistent over the years and takes direction well to scale her weights and movements appropriately. She is never impatient with her progress and takes a smart approach to her workouts. She is really a good role model and we are really pleased to have been able to work with her all this time!
We really wanted to give her a shout out for her hard work – both in the gym and out of the gym!
Dalia Feldman, 44, MRI & CT technologist at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
Like many crossfitters, I was bored with regular gyms and wanted to try something different, challenging, and exciting. I can definitely say that I have found all of it and more at CFJC.
I continue to come to CFJC because I love the variety and intensity of the workouts.
All I can remember is how sore my muscles were for the next couple days but I loved it and was determined to come back.
I really like everything about crossfit. I love the variety and intensity of workouts, supportive and encouraging coaches, and extremely nice and friendly people at the gym.
My first rope climb.
I love snatches. Least favorite – double unders. Probably, because I just can’t get them.
My favorite wods include some running and ab workouts. I also love hero wods because there is always amazing stories behind them.
Least favorite is Karen. There’s way too many wall balls.
I would love to be strong enough to do pull-ups and overhead snatches.
Crossfit has become a major stress reliever for me. No matter how hard and stressful a day I had before the workout, after I’m done, I feel so much better – both mentally and physically.
I enjoy reading, gardening, spending time with my daughter. I love travelling and exploring new places. I also love playing tennis.
Since starting Crossfit, I feel like my mental and physical toughness has improved tremendously.
Don’t feel intimidated to give it a try. There are scaled versions of all the movements that can be adjusted to your ability and the coaches are readily available to guide you and help you along the way.
