Anat grew up hiking and being outdoors, and never practiced any organized sports. During college she
gained weight and got bigger with every pregnancy. After her 3rd kid she started “Weight Watchers” and
“getting those 10,000 steps a day” which helped for a while, until it didn’t. After kid no. 4 when
attempting to get to 5k didn’t help to lose those extra pounds, she was convinced by her husband, coach
Erez (who was a novice athlete himself at the time) to give CrossFit a try. It took her a while (especially
since she could only come to 5am classes for the first two years), but she was finally hooked. The weight
fell off and she got stronger and leaner.
After training for 5 years Anat decided to combine her two passions – CrossFit and teaching to become a
kids coach. Anat received her level-1 certificate on April of 2021, and her kids certificate on July of 2021.
Anat wanted to become a kids coach to help kids get active, and to do her part in keeping children
active, healthy, and loving sports
