Looks like Deadlift Friday came early! I’d like to say it was due to Tiny’s b-day but we had it planned that way. Happy B’Day Matt (AKA Tiny – AKA Hanz)!!!
Strength: Deadlift – 5 sets of 5 reps. This is a volume day to build strength. Use the same weight for all sets. Reset between each rep. The weight should be 80-85% of your three rep max.
Then, take it outside – AMRAP 10 minutes (the goal here is to go UNBROKEN) of:
- 15/15 Sledgehammer swings (16lb)
- 3 Power cleans (155/105lb)
- 15 Squats
Optional challenge – who wants some? – max rep TTB in 30 seconds
