Happy Valentine’s Day! You know we had to do one of the named “girl” workouts for the holiday so we modified “Betty” to make her “Hot Betty.”
Strength/Skill Practice: Back squats – 5×5 – for load, but not to failure.
Then, five rounds of “Hot Betty” for time:
12 Push press with dumbbell, right arm (35/25lb)
12 Push press with dumbbell, left arm
10 Burpee box jumps – 24″ box
10 Box jumps
200m run
Finisher: 200m walk with plate locked overhead (45/35lb)
Seems everyone was somewhere else tonight due to Valentine’s Day… Tonya and Lara did something different to work around injuries…
